Protesting Duterte

Across the Philippines people came out to protest the anniversary of the declaration of martial law under dictator Ferdinand Marcos in 1972, which ushered in 9 years of military rule. Thousands took to the streets to protest what they said was a slide into authoritarian rule amid ongoing drug killings, martial law, and the political comeback of the late dictator's family.
